I’m Charlie Maidment, owner of The Cracking Rib Company. A keen chef with many years’ experience in the hospitality industry, I started the business in 2016 in order to bring something a bit different to festivals, street markets and private events.
As the name suggests, I specialise in pork ribs which are beautifully marinated, slow roasted and stripped from the bone, and then served with rice.
I work from a catering trailer but no white box trailers for me. No, you’ll see me coming in a purpose built and totally authentic looking shepherds hut.
